Shari Brownlee, Portrait Artist CPP
Shari began her love affair with photography when she was just a child. She received her very first SLR, a Pentax K-1000, as a Christmas gift, her freshman year of high school. Shooting many frames of film, she finally wore out this camera, years later. When she met her husband, Michael, in 1991, they spent many dates out on "shoots". Everywhere they went, Shari always had a camera in hand.
Shari attended Point Park College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she attained both her Associates and Bachelor's Degrees. She has recently earned her CPP, Certified Professional Photographer from PPA, Professional Photographer's of America. She is now working towards her Masters.
Shari turned her passion for photography into a business in 1998. Working out of a small room in her home has now evolved into the 2500 square foot studio she and her husband own on their 80 acre farm. Shari is the proud mom of three children, Travis, Jacob and Amber. They are the apples of her eye.
Shari loves spending the day with her camera in hand, capturing and preserving, forever in time, the Art of Life.
